email printBuffet and Hutch Re-Vamp

…..because we don’t have enough furniture in our little townhome (sarcasm) I decided I needed a buffet and hutch.  I found some inspiration from The Nester’s blog (she’s amazing, check her out).  She re-painted her piece and it looked so great I had to bite the idea.  We have a smaller kitchen with very limited storage space, so this seemed to be a perfect idea.  While husband was on his annual mancation ( he and about 12 guys went to Telluride this year.  Come to find out they accidentally scheduled it during Gay Pride week. LOL!) I found the perrrffff buffet and hutch on Craigslist for $199.  Husband picked it up for me when he got home from his and was able to work the price down to $175.  Score!

We got it home, sanded it down (husband makes me sand before painting because “if you are going to do something you need to do it right.”  Blah…blah…blah…..I hate it.  Sanding is like nails on a chalkboard to me. Whatevs, I did it.) and painted her up.  Might I say, it came out fabulous.  Have a looksie.  Trust me, if I can do it, you can to!
